V0.6 IS JUST BIG D ENERGY.


Damn... This Update Really Takes the game to the next level. Combat is more exciting than ever with more enemies, better scaling, and a lot of Loot!Also weapons and utility now have 4 tiers of quality from prototype to Mk3 providing a new layer of progression to the game!2 new enemies were added and with them, the enemy category of Swams. Greatly increasing the number of enemies and providing more varied encounters!

Version 0.6 Patch Notes:

New Content:

  • New Gear Tier System: Utility gear and weapons are now separated into 4 tiers to enhance gear progression.
  • New Loot System: Enemies now have a chance of dropping utility gear and weapons.
  • New Enemies:
    • Miner: A weak mining ship that chases the player with its saws.
    • Eye: A weak small drone that throws damaging orbs at the player.
  • More Enemies: Added a new "swarmer" enemy category, resulting in more enemies, more diverse encounters, smoother difficulty scaling, and more chaos!

Balance Changes:

  • Strong enemies in the sector will now spawn after the mid point.
  • Slightly reduced the fixed portion of experience gained for each enemy from 105 to 95.
  • Reduced crafting cost of turrets from 2 times to 1.5 times the value of the core.
  • Increased item sell cost modifier from 35% to 40% of the original price.

UI Improvements:

  • The dismantle menu will now appear in the middle of the screen in single-player.
  • Added text to drone core drops.
  • Made the "Area clear" text sharper and cooler.
  • Adjusted some UI background colors.
  • Some ugly notifications were replaced by Ren's explanations.
  • Increased the visibility of the wave spawner counter.

Audio Enhancements:

  • Added dismantle audio.
  • Added equip/unequip audio.

Fixes:

  • Fixed some issues with the high score display.
  • Fixed the inaccurate collider of the quantum lance.
  • Fixed an exception error that occurred when an enemy was killed before its AI was enabled.
  • Fixed the disassembly menu opening on top of the upgrade menu if an excess item was picked while it was open.
  • Fixed a softlock that occurred if the ally rescue ship arrived after the sector was cleared.
  • Fixed some issues with the shake effect that affected performance and created visual glitches.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the "Area cleared" notification to not fade out properly.
